# Score bands

> Set the three score bands that label and colour every health score.

import { Steps, Aside } from '@astrojs/starlight/components';

Score bands turn a number into a label and a colour. Your organization has three bands, from your lowest scores to your highest. Each band has a colour, a label and a score range.

## Change the bands

<Steps>

1. Open **Settings › Health score**.
2. In **Health Score Bands**, set each band's **Color**, **Label Text**, **Minimum Value** and **Maximum Value**.
3. Click **Save changes**.

</Steps>

The ranges may not overlap. If they do, you see *Health score bands are overlapping. Please check again.* and nothing is saved.

When you change a band's **Maximum Value**, the next band's fields go back to their saved values. Check the next band before you save.

Bands don't change any score. They only decide how a score is labelled and coloured, so a change shows up right away.

## Where bands are used

- The health score on the customer list, the customer page and the Customer Journey board shows its band's label and colour.
- The **Health Score Summary** on the customer list counts your active customers per band.
- **Expansion Potential** in the sidebar and the **Growth Potential** tab show customers in your highest band.
- **At-risk Customers** in the sidebar and the **Churn Risk** tab show customers in your lowest band.
- The customer list and the Customer Journey board can be filtered by **Score Band**.
