# After sending

> Show a thank-you text or send visitors to a page of your own.

Under **Settings › Support settings › Form › Look and texts › After sending**, choose one.

## Show a thank-you text

The form is replaced by a confirmation with the ticket number and a summary of what the visitor sent, plus a **Send another request** button (and a link to your help site, if you set one).

Write your own **Thank-you text**, or leave it empty for the default:

> Thanks, \*REQUESTER_NAME\*. Your request is \*TICKET_NUMBER\*. We'll reply by email.

You can use these placeholders:

| Placeholder | Becomes |
|---|---|
| `*REQUESTER_NAME*` | The visitor's name |
| `*TICKET_NUMBER*` | The new ticket's number, like SUP-59 |
| `*REQUESTER_EMAIL*` | The visitor's email address |

## Go to a page

Enter the **Page to open after sending**, a full address starting with `https://` or `http://`, like `https://example.com/thanks`. After sending, the visitor's browser opens it.

## The email the visitor gets

The visitor also gets a "we got your request" email. Change its wording on the **Email** tab of Support settings (**Confirmation**).

To limit abuse, the confirmation is not sent after 3 messages from the same address in a day, or 200 for your organization in a day. The ticket is still opened.

## Messenger

Messenger has its own **After sending** text on the Messenger tab; see [Texts](/support/messenger/texts/). It doesn't redirect.
